DRP VS NON-DRP<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]While Andre\u2019s Auto Body proudly participates in multiple Direct Repair Programs,\u00a0it is important to know your rights taking your vehicle in for repairs. If an accident occurs and you are unsure of where to take your vehicle, insurance companies may recommend specific auto repair shops. These Direct Repair Facilities, have a contract with one or more insurance companies. Once a shop is part a DRP program, they must comply with the insurance company standards.<\/p>\n

Using a DRP facility is ultimately the consumer\u2019s decision. An insurance company cannot force you to take your vehicle to a specific shop for repairs. The act of forcing a shop on you is known as \u201cSteering\u201d. This act is unethical and illegal in most states. It\u2019s your car, your choice.<\/p>\n

Whether you would like to self pay, or file a claim through an insurance company, it is our goal at Andre\u2019s\u00a0to provide the same level of service across the board to all of\u00a0our customers. Don\u2019t let your insurance company steer you away by stating your repairs may not be warrantied, or additional costs may not be covered. Andre\u2019s works with\u00a0ALL\u00a0insurance companies and backs the repairs with a limited lifetime warranty unless stated otherwise.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]1.Select the auto body repair shop to repair auto body damage covered by the insurance company. An insurance company shall not require the repairs to be done at a specific auto body repair shop.<\/p>\n

2.An itemized written estimate for auto body repairs. The estimate and invoice must also identify all parts as new, used, aftermarket, reconditioned or rebuilt.<\/p>\n

3.Be informed about coverage for towing and storage services.<\/p>\n

4.Be informed about the extent of coverage if any, for a replacement rental vehicle while a damaged vehicle is being repaired.<\/p>\n

5.Be informed of where to report suspected fraud or other complaints and concerns about auto body repairs.<\/p>\n
